EAA Chapter 222 FLY-INN 2001

We started at 17.00 hours on friday. Leffe with servicewagon, Sven with BA-4b and Bosse with BA-11. Lasse "in the tower" and Östlings flew up with the Safir. Wallerman flew up with some strange a/c that must have been some dull ordinary a/c from a rental service on Saturday.

A lot of good seminars, as usual. We talked to EAA and got a preliminary yes on our idee with modifications on coming SK61, and to make it experimental. Unfortunatly the Military HQ decided to take all a/c back and just now we don't know anything.

Sven got time to fly up and down to Barkaby, then off again on Saturday after breakfast , to be able to catch a flight to Brasil on Sunday. We think he went home to early so we have to consider his membership in the club.(No, it was not the baby coming, it was problems at work wich can not be an acceptable excuse).

Birgit and the gang from Kiruna was also there and visited us in the servicewagon.

Sunday, after a morning with fog and low clouds, we went home. Bosse did some low flying in the bad weather and got some education from the boss at the airfield about local flight rules. In spite the promised really bad weather, it turned out to be flyable later.
